Dihydrosphingosine (DHSph, sphinganine)
Fumonisin B1 inhibits ceramide synthases, as well as induces increase in sphingosine kinases and palmityl transferase, elevating levels of DHSph, DHS1P.
Hepatocyte TNFa, IFNg, IL12 are also increased (Suzuki).
